New Tangent Relationship in Fusion 360




It’s now super easy to create motion joints like the one shown below. Autodesk just released an update to Fusion 360 and this is one of the many new features.


Now, this isn’t exactly a brand new feature. You could do this before the update. It’s just that it’s now a lot easier and faster to do.


Under the Assemble Menu, you’ll find a new option called Tangent Relationship. Simply click to select it and then select the two components and that’s it. The selected faces will now maintain a positional relationship tangent to each other.
